The War
Against People of Color The
war against terrorism and on Iraq is a standard political ploy used by
conservative governments in the US and Europe to appeal to their traditional
supporters - conservative whites. Facing economic decline and lowered economic
prospects for generations to come in the foreseeable future, coupled with a
flood of non-white immigrants that threaten to convert these nations into
non-white colonies of the “Third World”, there is a great wave of resentment
growing among the still remaining white majority populations in these countries.
To capitalize on this raising tide of insecurity, as well as to deflect blame
from the corporate culprits responsible for creating the conditions which
generate economic instability and international migration, white supremacy is
subtly being promoted by US and European administrations alike to boost the
morale of its increasingly impoverished troops at home. Having
lost the opportunity to wage war against the Great Satan of communist Europe,
the reigning superpower, and its capitalist predecessors in Europe, have had to
scramble to come up with a new diversion for its increasingly restless masses.
The first salvo in their new campaign of spin is aimed at cleansing non-white
evildoers from the face of the earth, interestingly directed against a
traditional enemy of the “good” people who have been “saved” from the
clutches of Satan – Muslims. Ironically, this new threat to the existence of
humanity, militant Islam, was created by the supreme power to fight the Great
Satan in Afghanistan. Taxpayer money was used to recruit, train, arm and
transport disaffected Muslims all over the world to wage Jihad against communist
unbelievers. Having secured victory for the capitalists, the Jihadists have
themselves become the new evil-doers, due not to lack of capitalist or religious
spirit, but to their co-believers’ control over vital natural resources.
Having opened up Eastern Europe to capitalism, the war against militant Islam is
now used as a pretext to gain control over the entire Middle East. Following
in the footsteps of countless defenders of the faith, this new crusade is being
lead by Protestant kings allied with Catholic rulers from old and new Europe, in
a final campaign to rid all non-believers from the Holy Land of the entire
Middle East, and restore its abundance of oil reserves to the rightful owners -
the Chosen People of Israel. Reading the writing on the wailing wall, and
wanting to protect their investments in Christian currencies, not surprisingly,
all of the Muslim rulers are rolling out the red carpet to welcome the crusaders
this time around, and lining up to receive arms from the invaders to put down
resistance in their own countries. Although
this neo-Nazi race war is currently being fought by duped working class shock
troops across the globe, its message is clear to their grateful relatives in the
heartland – prepare yourselves for the impending battle on the home front. Of
course, Timothy McVeigh and other home grown terrorists have been repeating this
mantra for a long time, but only recently has the GOP spin doctors picked up on
it and taken it mainstream. No longer reserved for kooks in an Army Surplus
store, Jane and Joe Average White American are now outfitting themselves with
survivalist gear from Walmart, and taking turns peeping out their windows,
always on the look out for the errant Jihadist sleeper cell, or the sleepless
non-documented laborers who, it turns out, are stocking the shelves at Walmart
during the night shift. To show their seriousness in this battle against people
of color on the home front, and more likely to prepare themselves for the
impending working class revolt, the Department of Homeland Insecurity has
already begun tactical operations: mandatory registrations; rounding up Muslims
similar to the internment of Japanese; forbidding non-whites from planes,
trains, busses and public spaces; ceasing bank accounts of foreign nationals and
voluntary organizations; monitoring communications and movements; dismantling
any and all protections provided by a once valid bill of rights; and creating a
climate of distrust and hatred which facilitate the increased support and
funding of the Aryan war machine. No longer satisfied with the equity returns gained from
the limited war against drugs fought by incarcerating Latinos and African
Americans, the prison and military industrial complex has extended its scope to
a war without end, a war against the poor, a war against those struggling for
survival, peace, equality, justice, the environment, independence,
self-determination, and democracy - in short, a war against all enemies of
multinational capitalism and corporate domination. To be fair to the neo-conservatives running the world, many of whom are people of color, this propaganda war is not seriously meant as a war against non-whites, as much as it is a war for the hearts and minds of the critically challenged, and for the sole benefit of the Neocons’ true supporters, the filthy rich. This war of ever increasing corporate handouts is racking up record deficits which Jane and Joe Average White and Non-white Americans will eventually have to pay. Once they figure out their share of this national credit card bill, the real war against corporate terrorism will begin. |
